Charles Stuart is a British/Dominican musician and composer based in London. He released his debut album The Man Who Likes Watching through Slowfoot Records in 2007. Stuart draws from a wide range of influences, incorporating elements of funk, soul, pop and folk into his music. He has been writing songs since the age of 11, when he started teaching himself to play piano. When performing live as a solo act, he uses samplers and triggers loops to accompany himself. He is the MD and keyboard player for Grace Jones' live band, and writes and performs with the fish police. Along with several other artists he took part in Pieces Of Man, a Gil Scott-Heron tribute concert.
